Responsibilities

Prepare quotes in response to client requests
May serve as SalesForce CRM Admin
Communicate with clients to determine scope of work
Determine approximate project turnaround time based on metrics and input from company experts
Serve as liaison for clients by determining additional services that may be of value for the project, but not specifically requested
Electronically send quotes to clients via Salesforce
Revise pricing as needed when scope of work is communicated
Follow up with clients as needed
Coordinate and communicate with staff as needed regarding committed studies, quote revisions for changes in scope of work, and any client-specific requests
Track and report key performance indicators

Required

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or related field preferred
At least 6 months of business development and sales experience is required
Demonstrated administrative ability, including knowledge of and experience with planning, scheduling, reporting, managing clients, corresponding and answering inquiries in a professional office setting
Excellent customer service skills and must maintain positive, professional rapport with colleagues, clients, employees, and vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation and consultative selling skills
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace
Ability to establish, maintain trusted professional working relationships both internally and externally
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a high-level of resourcefulness including persistence and diligence in finding solutions and resolving issues
Ability to function well both independently and in a fast-paced team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, financial software, CRM tools, databases and related software

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or related field preferred
Three years of business development and sales experience is preferred
