Responsibilities

Assess client requirements and current IT infrastructure to design effective cloud solutions.

Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including cost analysis and risk assessments.

Provide guidance on best practices for leveraging cloud platforms.

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud solutions using platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Configure and optimize cloud resources for performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Monitor cloud performance and implement enhancements to ensure high availability.

Assist with disaster recovery planning and implementation.

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.

Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on cloud technologies.

Build strong client relationships to identify future opportunities for collaboration.

Ensure that cloud solutions meet industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and policies.

Required

Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Experience with tools for cloud management, automation, and orchestration.

Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and data storage in a cloud environment.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.

Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies.

Experience working in Agile or Scrum frameworks.

Federal Experience is a plus.
