Responsibilities

Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.

Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Create scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management processes.

Implement security measures to protect cloud resources and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Monitor cloud performance, identify issues, and optimize resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and IT teams to support application deployment and maintenance.

Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and best practices.

Diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues, providing support and guidance to team members as needed.

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our cloud infrastructure.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience in cloud engineering or related roles, with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Proficient in cloud services (compute, storage, networking), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.

Understanding of cloud security best practices and frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

Federal Experience is a plus.
