Responsibilities
Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud-hosted solutions
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for cloud-based solutions
Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements and standards
Troubleshoot issues and outages and assist other teams with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Partner with colleagues to help each other grow expertise in legacy, current, and emerging technologies
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior members of the team
Build and maintain documentation of internal systems and usage of external systems
Assist other teams with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Provide advanced technical support when needed by other teams or your team
Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups

Required
Experience in one of the below roles: Recent experience as Cloud Engineer, Recent experience in an intermediate IT role such as: System Engineer, Cloud Administrator, System Administrator, 3+ years of experience in an entry-level IT role with cloud certifications such as: Tier 1 Technical Support, Helpdesk
Working knowledge of cloud services
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
Experience transforming legacy on-prem solutions to properly designed cloud-based solutions
Knowledge of system security, data backup, and recovery
Familiarity with various operating system platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with cloud-compatible monitoring tools and logging solutions
Preferred
4-year degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or other related field
Agile experience preferred
Certifications in cloud technologies is a plus
