Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, automating cloud infrastructure provisioning for scalable and secure applications

Administer and support Azure-based public sector cloud environments

Collaborate with development teams to deliver additional modules of our flagship product in a secure, high-performance environment meeting RTO/RPO and security requirements

Assist in designing, implementing, and remediating compliance, security, and auditing controls; develop SOPs, RACIs, and provide training as we scale

Configure and maintain Azure Policy to enforce desired security states and work with supporting teams to perform compliance and remediation of resources

Required

Must be able to obtain or currently possess a U.S. security clearance, requires U.S. citizenship and residency in the United States, a clean background check, and the capability to pass initial and recurring drug screenings

At least 7+ years of experience deploying and administering environments, with extensive expertise in Azure infrastructure services

Robust Azure skillset, including experience with VMs, SQL VMs, Scale Sets, Disk Encryption, VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Traffic Manager, App Services, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, CosmosDB, Redis, Defender for Cloud, AKS, Container Registry, Azure Defender, and Azure Policy

Extensive experience with configuration management and automation tools, including Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and strong DevOps practices

Candidates must have hands-on experience and the ability to manage resources programmatically using Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI

Preferred

Proficiency with Azure, Networking, Terraform, GitHub, Kubernetes, and DevOps

Expertise in advanced Windows management and network troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, and PaaS services

Experience with policy compliance and remediation: Azure Security Benchmark, NIST 800-171/800-53, and FedRAMP

Moderate/Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform

Familiarity with managing and hosting application on AKS

Excellent planning, time management, documentation, and training skills; effective communicator who adapts easily and works well individually and in teams
