Responsibilities

Architecting/managing secure high availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practices.
Managing a hybrid CI/CD environment utilizing both GOTS and OSS, supporting multiple developer teams.
Configuring and integrating authentication protocols across various web applications.
Supporting build, release, and deployment pipelines.
Developing scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a cloud environment.
Documenting systems and processes for capability growth and improved team collaboration.
Learning and adapting to Azure cloud resources, with opportunities for formal training.

Required

U.S. Citizenship (no dual or Green Card/Permanent Resident Card) with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret-level Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or a closely related field; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
4+ years of experience in RedHat Linux installation, implementation, configuration, testing (functional and security), operations, maintenance and patching of systems
Experience with network design & topologies including edge services & point-to-point VPNs within cloud environments
Experience with architecting & designing Azure-based cloud solutions
Understanding of high availability environments such as clustering, failover and geographic redundancy
Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint)
Demonstrable documentation skills

Preferred

Microsoft Azure, AWS, RHEL, and/or Windows Server certification(s)
Experience with Docker container technologies and Docker container deployment technologies, such as Terraform, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Helm
Proficient with a scripting programming language like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Proficiency with Configuration Management using Ansible
Familiarity with making REST API calls and handling data in JSON or YAML formats
Experience supporting CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps build pipelines
Atlassian Tools Suite experience (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket)
Familiarity with configuring and managing SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL
Experience with F5 BIG-IP Firewall Solutions, load balancers, and/or reverse proxies
Familiarity with implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations
Experience with managed Anti-Virus tools like McAfee / Trellix ePO
