Responsibilities
Collaborate with cloud account and engineering teams to review, manage, and track security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and remediation efforts.
Define and implement cloud policies, assess compliance, and lead remediation efforts for non-compliant resources.
Champion security and privacy by design through effective partnership with security, cloud account, and engineering teams.
Work closely with cloud account teams to align security initiatives with business priorities.
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and propose enhancements.
Lead discussions with product teams on cost-risk tradeoffs related to security requirements.
Develop and implement leading practice security processes across cross-functional teams within Technology and the Business.

Required
5+ years of experience in a related field OR Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) with 3+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree (MS) with 1+ year of related experience.
Demonstrated experience with Azure security; experience with policy as code (Terraform) preferred.
Working knowledge of cloud concepts, network architectures, network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs), encryption methods, and Identity and Access Management.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to foster consensus among cross-functional teams on security risks and vulnerabilities.
Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills to solve complex problems effectively.
Preferred
Master’s degree (MS/MA) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline OR 3 years of experience in a related field.
Experience with cloud security posture management solutions.
Background in consulting (Big Four) or experience in a Fortune 500 company.
Experience in the Telecom/Cable industry.
Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.
Cloud provider certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS).
