Responsibilities

Follow Standard Work – Machine set up, running parts and preventative maintenance (PM).

Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations and/or operate other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools which will be required for the next scheduled job.

Update and maintain all visual controls.

Create and/or support countermeasures.

Operate in and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Participate and engage in SMED, Kaizen events, and ‘5 Whys’ problem-solving exercises.

Resolve and/or report equipment abnormalities.

Follow company safety procedures and standards to insure individual and collective safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co-workers, contractors, customers, and property. Be a stand for safety having the courage to call forth and report unsafe practices.

All other duties as assigned.

Required

2-5 years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience

Ability to train other Maintenance Technicians and oversee the work of junior mechanics

Ability to navigate CNC controls including OSP, Fanuc, Haas controls

Ability to complete electrical installations

Ability to troubleshoot/repair and train others on turret alignment, spindle/motor replacements, and other machine components rebuilds

Strong proficiency to repair and install various voltages as needed for CNC equipment

Design and implement new hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required

Proficiency in simple fabrication and welding applications

Ability to identify, develop and perform required daily/weekly/monthly/semi-annual and annual maintenance on all CNC equipment

Preferred

Proficiency in Fanuc robots a plus
