Responsibilities

Develop, test, and modify CNC programs using MasterCam software for 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines.

Review and interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and geometric dimensions and tolerances to plan machining operations.

Setup, adjust, and operate CNC machines to perform diverse and complex machining operations.

Monitor output and ensure the accuracy of all production runs, making adjustments as needed to produce parts to specifications.

Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand work order requirements and to troubleshoot machining issues.

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Train and guide less experienced operators and machinists.

Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, equipment, and best practices to continuously improve job knowledge and technical expertise.
