Responsibilities
Use established manufacturing processes to generate Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) part programs
Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimensions, cutting tools, and machine settings
Adjust machine cutting paths to optimize production while ensuring quality
Program machines based on material types and cutting requirements
Interface with machine operators to ensure optimal programming
Compute dimensions and outline machining operations
Write instruction sheets and cutter lists for machine setup and operation
Collaborate with Manufacturing Support and Production on processes and setups
Participate in meetings and special projects
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Required
A two-year (2) degree in Manufacturing Technology, Machine Tool Technology or Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent machine shop or relevant manufacturing experience
Experience using Mazatrol, MasterCam and SolidWorks for CNC programming
Interpret mechanical drawings for fit, finish, dimensions and tolerances
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
The ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
Experience with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of safety practices concerning machine tools
Detail-oriented, accurate and thorough
