Responsibilities
Analyze customer data and payment trends to identify opportunities for improving collections performance.
Develop and implement collections strategies to minimize delinquencies and maximize recovery rates.
Utilize statistical modeling and predictive analytics to forecast delinquency rates and identify at-risk accounts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement collections initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular performance reviews.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Generate reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in collections management.

Required
Proven 2 year experience in strategy development within the financial services industry, preferably in a fintech environment.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to collections practices.
Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals and metrics.
Experience with forecasting.
Experience with experimentation (both A/B testing and causal inference when A/B testing is not possible).
