Commercial Contracts Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage MSAs, NDAs, Letters of Intent, and other client-facing legal documents in partnership with the sales team.
Maintain and organize contract templates and ensure up-to-date versions are readily available to the team.
Oversee the documentation process to ensure all contractual agreements are efficiently stored, tracked, and maintained in an electronic database and aligned with the company’s CRM and legal systems.
Identify opportunities to improve the contract review process to enhance response times and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, regulatory, compliance, and IT teams to develop solutions that improve process efficiency.
Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and negotiations, working closely with internal and client stakeholders.
Drive clear and efficient communication of contract terms to relevant internal departments and provide guidance on contract compliance.
Facilitate internal discussions concerning contract strategies, invoicing schedules, or necessary modifications in preparation for client presentations.
Partner with the CCO and internal stakeholders during contract negotiations, collaborating with client legal teams to resolve disagreements and ensure mutual benefit while safeguarding company interests.
Monitor and evaluate contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and proactively identify potential risks or areas requiring resolution.
Engage with internal or external counsel as necessary to ensure contractual compliance and address legal issues effectively.
Ensure all contract-related activities are recorded in the company’s CRM or relevant systems for efficient tracking and accessibility.
Document specific client contract terms in relevant databases to provide a clear reference point for teams across BioIVT.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field
5+ years of experience in contract management, legal, or commercial operations, with a strong focus on drafting and reviewing commercial agreements
Proven expertise in negotiating and managing complex contracts, ideally within the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide business-relevant legal guidance
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in CRM and contract management software
Preferred
