Responsibilities
Develop and implement standardized contractual templates for procurement of goods and services on behalf of NewCo, CSPs, suppliers, and across all customer segments;
Negotiate contracts on behalf of NewCo. Where necessary, the legal team will support complex and strategic transactions with our customers, partners, and suppliers worldwide on their paper;
Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team on a range of commercial, compliance, privacy, and legal issues
Identify and implement continuous improvements in the efficiency and efficacy of our processes.
Managing other consultants and outside counsel, as required.

Required
10+ years of experience working in in-house or a combination of law firm and in-house experience
Expert legal skills
Experience negotiating, drafting, and interpreting commercial technology agreements (sale and buy-side)
Understanding of how legal terms translate to business impact.
Familiarity with regulatory and data protection requirements in the US, the EU and the UK
Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems in a complex technology and business environment by creating simple, repeatable and actionable solutions and processes
Results oriented, proactive, responsible, pragmatic and ethical person with a passion for technology and its societal impact.
Preferred
Experience with communication platforms as a service (CPaaS) and cloud based applications is a plus.
