Responsibilities

Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options/exclusions, making coverage recommendations, handling premium collections, and answering client questions.

Provide in-house customer service, review aged receivables, and send direct notices of cancellation per agency procedures.

Initiate renewal reviews, re-market as appropriate, and prepare summaries of insurance to avoid potential errors and omissions issues.

Maintain client accounts on agency automation system, document conversations, and respond to carrier requests for additional information in a timely manner.

High School diploma required

220 license required

Minimum 3 years commercial lines customer service experience or 1 year customer service representative experience and 2 years as a customer service assistant

Must have excellent computer skills

Proficient in the use of windows based operating system and Microsoft Office products (2007 or above), including Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong typing skills
