Responsibilities

Collaborate with Producers and team members on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals, adhering to best practices and standard procedures.
Deliver professional, courteous service to clients and partners, ensuring account retention meets or exceeds expectations.
Oversee the preparation and implementation of transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts, stepping in as needed to assist other support staff.
Analyze and compare insurance plans to meet clients’ objectives, offering strategic recommendations.
Coordinate and implement value-added services, such as risk assessments, contract reviews, claims reviews, and market analyses.
Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve complex service issues, negotiate with underwriters, and troubleshoot claims and billing matters.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products and services.
Manage and conduct client meetings, independently or with a Producer.
Maintain organized account files, documenting all interactions and ensuring data accuracy across systems.
Stay informed on industry changes and participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
Mentor and support less experienced Account Managers and support staff as needed.
Contribute to new business development and account rounding in line with company policies.

Required

At least 5 years of experience in insurance account management.
Strong customer service skills and a client-focused mindset.
Active 2-20 P&C License or equivalent, with up-to-date CE credits.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and agency management systems.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Confidence and professionalism to interact effectively with clients, team members, and leadership.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.

Preferred

Professional designations such as CIC, AAI, or ARM are a plus.
