Responsibilities

Provide support to assigned Producer(s)
Client Relationships – assist clients with all policy and coverage questions on a day-to-day basis
Carrier Relationships – establish relationships with key carrier Marketing & Underwriting contacts
Maintain client files in Applied Epic in an orderly and up-to-date manner according to Agency standards
Effectively manage Epic Home Page, to include timely Activity review, documentation and processing
Assist in marketing new and renewal business, negotiate rates, review coverages for competitiveness and accuracy, assist in presenting to clients as needed
Prepare documents for renewal terms, including proposals, Acord forms, Binders, and Certificates of Insurance
Review issued policies for accuracy and appropriate coverages
Manage new business workflow
Comprehend and interpret Insurance Contract requirements for Certificates
Manage renewal list – work renewals in a timely manner and report on status
Manage invoicing and account receivables
Claims – walk clients through process, including claim submission, follow-up and overall communication

Required

Must hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license
Minimum 2-4 years of related Account Manager experience
Experience with Applied EPIC
Understanding of property & casualty coverages, knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures
High School Graduate
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred

Related industry designation preferred / Desire to pursue industry designation (CIC, CISR, CPRM, CPCU, etc.)
College degree preferred or work-related experience
