Responsibilities
Review and analyze incoming commercial insurance submissions.
Calculate accurate premiums based on coverage types, limits, and underwriting guidelines.
Collaborate with underwriters to clarify submission details and ensure alignment with coverage requests.
Input and maintain accurate rating data in systems, such as NetRate or Guidewire PolicyCenter (preferred but not required).
Provide rated premiums and relevant documentation to underwriters promptly and efficiently.
Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements throughout the rating process.
Communicate effectively with underwriters and team members to support smooth workflow operations.

Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance (personal lines experience will not be considered)
In-depth understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policies, and rating methodologies
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in calculating premiums and reviewing submissions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with underwriters and team members
Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with NetRate or Guidewire PolicyCenter
