Responsibilities

Prepare, input, maintain and track commission batches from sponsor companies, and representatives alike, by coding with rep information, and product information on the commission statement

Receive and process checks from representatives related to Debit Balances.

Prepares and reviews check deposits.

Communicate and resolve with sponsors discrepancies in statements and payments received

Formats excel spreadsheets for upload into commission system for processing to reps.

Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail.

Perform Quality Assurance on colleagues’ work to ensure accuracy of the information entered into the commission’s systems as batches are processed.

Prepare processed batches each week for imaging into the Docupace System.

All other duties as assigned

Required

H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED) required

At least two years of experience processing Broker-Dealer back-office commissions

1 – 2 years of industry experience

Must be proficient in the following: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Must acquire and retain the knowledge of securities industry rules and best practices regarding Commission Processing and have strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be team-oriented and client-focused.

Preferred

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

2 – 3 years of industry experience
