Responsibilities

Ensure the proper installation and operation of OEM equipment, including turbines.
Perform system checks and verify equipment functionality.
Test and attempt to trip all equipment to ensure systems are secure and operational before client handoff.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the commissioning process.
Collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
Travel to client sites (50% travel) to perform commissioning tasks.

Required

Education and Experience: Engineering degree or relevant technical training. Prior experience in commissioning equipment, particularly turbines, is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of OEM equipment, including turbines, and their operational systems.
Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Ability to use diagnostic tools and software effectively.
Commissioning Experience: Experience in commissioning mechanical systems, with a focus on turbines or similar equipment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to commissioning and working with OEM equipment. Ability to follow safety guidelines.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing project requirements. Willingness to travel as needed.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise commissioning of equipment.
Professionalism: Professional demeanor with a customer service-oriented approach.
Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
