Responsibilities

Conduct site visits to assess generator installations and prepare for commissioning
Develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules in collaboration with project teams
Perform functional tests, load tests, and performance tests on generators
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to generator operation
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during commissioning
Provide technical support to field technicians during installation and commissioning
Document commissioning activities, test results, and modifications
Train end-users on generator operation and maintenance

Electrical EngineeringElectrical Drawings InterpretationCity & Guilds 18th EditionMechanical EngineeringGenerator ExperienceRisk AssessmentsPLC Programming

Required

NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Electrical qualification and registration
Proficiency in interpreting and following electrical drawings and schedules
City & Guilds 18th edition electrical regulations certification (or equivalent)
Ability to understand and complete risk assessments
Experience in programming PLCs
Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home
Adaptability to work in various environments, including offshore locations
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages beneficial)

Experience working with generators (desirable)
