Responsibilities

Will only be commissioning the Tracking equipment – plug into a network switch – will use a laptop computer for commissioning - scanner to do scanning

Ethernet cable to configure it – check with fluke (low voltage, not connected to the plant electrical system)

Each job lasts from 2-3 weeks, will get a flight home every 3-4 weeks

Minimum experience would be 3 years: working on some type of Commissioning work in either the Wind or solar industry

Required

Utility Scale Commissioning experience in either the Wind or Solar industry

Minimum 3 years of experience in Commissioning work in the Wind or Solar industry

Basic understanding of electrical systems

Certification in OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

2+ years of commissioning experience

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems for Operation and Maintenance

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting

Understanding of construction math and strong problem-solving skills

Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proven ability to maintain client relationships

Safe Working Practices

Detail-oriented

Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time

SCADA and Networking experience

Ability to set up remote IP addresses

Preferred

Previous solar electricity experience

Experience with SCADA systems

Solar tracker commissioning experience

Wind turbine commissioning experience
