Responsibilities

Analyze the division's communication, technology and training needs in relation to existing capacity to determine effective and feasible solutions that meet customers' needs and coordinate efforts to ensure alignment across the division.
Develop and manage website content and mass communication.
Examine and integrate technology options that will improve overall division efficiency.
Assess program training needs, provide training solutions and develop comprehensive training plans for each program and the division as a whole.
Ensure division-wide administrative processes and procedures are well-documented and well-implemented
Training staff on training tools and resources, processes and procedures and recommend technology tools that would further enhance efficiency.

Required

2 years of professional experience
A bachelor's or master's degree in public administration, organizational management, education, communication or a related field and 1 year of professional experience
Managing communication strategies including web content management systems and hands-on experience in researching, implementing and knowledge of various communication platforms.
Instructional design and E-learning curriculum development, training methodologies and virtual/remote and in-person delivery, facilitation and evaluation of comprehensive training programs for diverse audiences that align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
Working with various technology solutions and application software.
Developing continuous improvement initiatives, documenting administrative processes, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Analyzing and presenting data from research and evaluation to various audiences.

Preferred

Training and development certificate or equivalent
Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certificate or equivalent
Advanced knowledge and use of various technology digital tools and platforms (Oracle, GovDelivery, Adobe, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Alchemer, Canva, Canvas LMS)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Experience with USDA Child Nutrition Programs
5 or more years in a similar role, particularly within government or education sectors
