Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans aligned with National ACE’s mission and advocacy priorities.
Write and edit content for newsletters, press releases, donor updates, annual reports, website pages, and blogs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine messaging for events, donor relations, and community outreach.
Oversee the planning and execution of signature events that showcase National ACE’s services and amplify key messages.
Design and package government and non-governmental grant proposals, drawing on a thorough understanding of prospective grantors’ history, objectives, programs, and financial needs.
Lead storytelling efforts to articulate National ACE’s key initiatives, achievements, and community impact, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
Create and manage a cohesive social media content calendar for key platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Develop social media campaigns aligned with organizational priorities, key dates, and themes, including managing social ad campaigns.
Monitor and analyze social media engagement metrics to refine strategies and maximize reach.
Collaborate with digital communication partners to ensure alignment between social media activities and National ACE’s broader communications strategy.
Responsible for producing visual assets that support communications and social media, including graphics for web, social media, newsletters, and other digital and print materials.
Use design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress) to create visually engaging materials that enhance written content.
Maintain and evolve National ACE’s brand identity across platforms, ensuring consistency in visual storytelling.
Adjust designs based on feedback and performance insights to continually refine visual approaches.
Coordinate with public relations partners to ensure accurate and timely distribution of media advisories, press releases, and other external communications.
Manage the production of the Annual Impact Report, liaising with internal teams for input and approvals.
Provide insights on communication and social media trends, adapting strategies to remain competitive and relevant.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience serving in communications and/or social media
Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and/or drafting legislation
Proven writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to varied audiences.
Experience managing and analyzing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) for nonprofit or corporate communications.
Must attend in-person and virtual meetings and events, including meetings held before and after traditional work hours (i.e., 8 to 5 pm)
Must have public speaking experience
Strong proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and WordPress.
Proficient knowledge of computers and applicable computer software applications, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Outstanding writing, presentation, and oral skills before small and large audiences.
Highly organized: ability to successfully track, balance, and execute multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with ACE employees, vendors, and stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.
Perform as a proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated self-starter with strong communication and decision-making skills.
Work independently with high reliability, accuracy, and productivity.

Demonstrate ability to manage budgets and track expenses.
Be flexible, creative, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Understand, interpret, and apply documents such as operating instructions, applicable policies, and procedures.
