Responsibilities

Creates and maintains effective long-term relationships, with corporations/schools/agencies (as relates to the college) partnering with them to meet their educational needs through professional Development workshops, degree programs, and other UOPX offerings.
Navigates customer buying process and uncovers core customer needs aligned to UOPX offerings. Manages customer expectations around UOPX service level expectations.
Utilize strategy for client meetings, including but not limited to: pre-meeting planner, post-meeting email recap to customer and post-meeting recap in SFDC (Salesforce.com). Demonstrates excellent presentation and verbal communication skills in client settings.
Demonstrates thorough product and UOPX program knowledge, as well as market trends and how to position solutions to meet those trends.
Collaborates and partners with Campus Services and Enrollment to develop strategies around lead generation, promoting start dates, obtaining ground cohorts. Works directly with students to educate them on the University’s product offerings and the enrollment process.
Maintains timely, accurate and thorough documentation of all activities, tasks, contacts and account management in SFDC. Effective opportunity in pipeline management, stage aging and opportunity close dates. Demonstrates professional, succinct and compelling written communication skills.
Projects a professional, confident demeanor and appropriately utilizes the approved marketing and client communication assets. Represents UOPX establish brand standards in a compliant manner in all written and verbal external communication.
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Required

Bachelor’s degree is required from a regionally accredited institution.
Three (3) or more years of experience in business development and strategic account management with a record of high performance in solution selling.
Experience developing and selling complex value propositions.
Must possess high levels of knowledge of the higher education market and industry.
Must possess a high level of understanding of business, education, technology, counseling and/or nursing programs of study as relates to the college.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate professionally, persuasively and confidently over phone, email and in face-to-face appointments to accurately convey information and increase positive awareness of the University.
Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
Ability to effectively utilize technology tools and communicate effectively with customers.
Strong research skills and ability to identify client needs.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments, functions, cultures and time zones. Navigating through an organization to interact with key decision makers and other leadership.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, as occasional travel may be required.

Preferred

Experience with adult learning and development models strongly preferred.
