Responsibilities
Hire, train, and supervise team members through positive mentoring.
Conduct ongoing training and monitor progress.
Lead by example and empower team members.
Conduct annual performance reviews and assist in the hiring process.
Prepare and execute community budget, reports, and ensure timely rent collection.
Maintain open communication with vendors, suggest rental rate recommendations, and report incidents.
Oversee applicant screening, leasing process, and provide outstanding customer service.
Inspect property for cleanliness, address concerns, and maintain a professional image.
Answer phone calls, build relationships with residents, and ensure safety first.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required
High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
Three or more years of experience in property management with at least one year as a Community Manager
Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
A sharp, professional appearance
Must be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairs
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies
Stand for extended periods of time
May be required to lift to 25 pounds without assistance
Dynamic team leadership and communication abilities
Working Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
Working knowledge of Affordable Housing programs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Preferred
Knowledge of Yardi or other industry software preferred
