Responsibilities
Manage and nurture relationships with members across multiple online platforms (forums, social media, Discord, Slack, etc).
Create and execute strategies to drive user engagement and growth.
Initiate conversations, facilitate discussions, and encourage positive interactions within the community.
Organize virtual events (e.g., webinars, Q&A sessions, live chats) to bring the community closer.
Develop engaging and relevant content tailored to the community (e.g., blog posts, social media updates, videos, newsletters).
Curate content from community members, highlighting success stories, feedback, and contributions.
Work with the content team to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
Act as the primary support contact for community members, answering questions and resolving issues.
Gather community feedback, insights, and concerns to relay to relevant teams (e.g., product development, customer support).
Provide troubleshooting assistance for community-related technical issues.
Monitor community engagement metrics (e.g., growth, activity levels, sentiment) and report on progress to management.
Use analytics tools to track community performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Regularly analyze community feedback to identify trends and areas for product or service improvement.
Promote brand values and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive community culture.
Develop and manage ambassador or influencer programs to expand community reach.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across community channels.
Address negative feedback, conflict, or controversy within the community in a professional and timely manner.
Implement proactive strategies to mitigate potential issues and promote a positive community environment.

Required
Proven experience (1+ years) in community management or a related role, preferably in a remote environment.
Strong understanding of community-building tools and platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack, Facebook Groups, Reddit, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflict diplomatically.
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and community engagement platforms (e.g., Discourse, Zendesk).
Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a remote work environment.
Experience with data analytics and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
Preferred
Knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
Experience organizing virtual events or webinars.
Fluency in additional languages (especially if the company has an international community).
A passion for the [specific industry, e.g., tech, lifestyle, etc.] and strong interest in online communities and social media trends.
