Responsibilities
To support Research & Discovery in having a ‘Single version of CI Truth’ within Oncology
Proactively work with teams across GLPG to help them define and refine KITs and KIQs, and advise on how they may obtain the CI they need
Responsible for development and delivery of high-quality, value-added insights gained from primary and secondary research, to enable informed decision making on future Oncology strategy
Continually monitor the external competitive landscape to gain deep expertise in focus disease areas and distribute consistently throughout the organization
Consolidate and maintain CI resources, helping different teams to easily understand what has already been done for different therapy areas or drug classes
Ensure maximal usage of subscriptions by monitoring usage, facilitating training and ensuring optimized access to relevant sources
Reporting to the Competitive Intelligence Lead, as part of the Global Commercial team

Required
3+ years of experience in a market and competitive intelligence analyst/strategist role
Demonstrated expertise in early-stage research and development within a biotechnology organization. Knowledge of cell therapies required
Relevant international work experience in the biotechnology industry in Oncology/CAR-T & solid tumours
Strong strategic, analytical, and competitive intelligence capabilities in primary and secondary CI, including management and hands-on use of key public and commercial information sources
Strong business acumen and ability to convert data and information to business relevant insights
Experience working cross-functionally. Proven ability to establish yourself as a trusted partner to internal teams, with the capacity for getting things done, be it either hands-on or by leading others
Able to set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
Hybrid working (40% in Princeton office preferred, or Basel, Leiden or Mechelen). Additional travel might be required, e.g. attendance to international conferences
