Responsibilities

Provide legal and practical guidance and support to management and consultants in compliance areas including Medicaid regulations.

Take a lead role in compliance investigations and monitoring activities.

Advise on company policies.

Manage outside counsel in compliance matters and litigation.

Draft and review contracts with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, vendors, and others.

Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Required

Specialized knowledge and experience in Medicaid, contract, and other relevant compliance areas.

Excellent legal and legal writing skills.

Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.

Law degree and bar membership.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an attorney.

Experience that reflects the diverse responsibilities of the position.

Preferred

Employment experience with state or federal Medicaid agency.

In-house experience.
