Responsibilities

Meet with and shadow compliance team members to get an understanding of compliance and compliance careers

Conduct research on relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements affecting Cross River

Assist in monitoring updates and changes to compliance related laws, rules, and regulations

Assist in the creation of regulatory training content for employees

Assist in reviewing and updating internal compliance document, policies and procedures

Work with legal, risk management, and other departments to ensure company-wide compliance with applicable regulations

Required

Currently pursuing a legal degree

Strong interest in compliance and financial services

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze laws, rules, and regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

Prior internship experience in financial services or regulatory compliance a plus
