Responsibilities
Coordinate the watch on food safety, food quality and sustainability regulations for the food sector globally.
Create and update a Regulatory Database with major sustainability legislation affecting the food sector and MXNS.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities in food safety, food quality, and sustainability regulations globally and prepare insights for internal and external stakeholders through the monitoring of local official journals, Mérieux internal tools, dedicated websites, regulatory channels, and international organizations.
Provide yearly updated input for the Blue Paper.
Creation of needed technical knowledge documents and capabilities for development of Expert Partners services in connection with the internal Innovation process.
Create, review and update Quality procedures for various global Expert Partners Programs (Auditing, Consulting, Labeling, Training).
Serve as the main point of contact internally for the Expert Partners Quality Standard Program.
Assess all Mérieux country offices against the Expert Partners Quality Standard Program and provide regular updates to key internal stakeholders.
Create and provide training to internal team members on Quality initiatives and programs within Mérieux NutriSciences.
Attend meetings and conferences as needed.
Attend and participate in meetings with the Global Expert Partners HUB.
Develop, update, and streamline procedures and documents related to the internal Regulatory and Quality processes.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry or equivalent experience desired. Masters preferred.
5 years working experience in a QA related position in the food industry.
Knowledge of regulations globally regarding food safety, food quality and sustainability and where to locate them.
Ability to identify main regulatory developments, to execute customer impact assessments and support the development of solutions for Mérieux NutriSciences customers.
Affinity with food safety, food quality and sustainability regulations and QA systems.
Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
Knowledge of PC based software including word and excel.
Impeccable organizational skills and time management.
Independence in working within minimal instruction.
Initiative and ability to anticipate customer requests and provide solutions.
Clear and concise oral and written communications.
Immediate (within 1 business day) response to requests.
Ability to develop relationships with customers, both internal and external.
Business acumen and creativity.
Preferred
Familiarity with the Intact Database platform and Mérieux digital tools is a plus.
