Responsibilities
Analyze and enhance (as necessary) internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations, contractual requirements and ethical standards.
Create, modify, update and implement the company’s policies in line with regulatory requirements and global company standards.
Manage compliance reporting for company business to include EEO and Affirmative Action, as well as specific requirements applicable to the company’s government contracts.
Develop risk management strategies.
Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies.
Design and implement training programs for employee and company compliance.
Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies.
Advise on business operations relating to investment, risks and any other policy development.
Maintaining Corporate Insurance policies; to include providing audit reports and Certificates of Insurance.
Maintaining State, Local, and Government compliance to include Labor Law postings.
Contract compliance reporting to include background certifications.
Support Business Registration in new states as required by business activity.
Complete required forms in association with requested proposal and contract submittals.
Other compliance responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Required
7 or more years of experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Risk, Compliance, Economics, Legal Studies, Accounting, or related field of study desired
Relevant experience in State, Local, and Federal government compliance, risk management, and/or related areas
Experience in designing and managing compliance programs for companies who do business with the government, including competency in monitoring relevant laws and regulations and how they apply to government contractors
Experience in identifying key risks facing a company and developing business-minded workable solutions to mitigate risks while promoting business growth
Experience conducting full scope risk assessments and compliance reviews, drafting pragmatic policies and procedures and developing and delivering training to functional and business teams
Strong written and oral communication skills required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Excel
Moral integrity and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently prioritize competing deadlines
A self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized individual who can work independently as well as within a team setting; with the ability to multi-task
Preferred
