Responsibilities

Supervisory responsibilities for the insurance product compliance team;

Review and analyze state statutes, regulations and bulletins to determine impact and ensure adherence to filing and regulatory requirements;

Standardize and implement company forms and policyholder notices;

File and maintain all needed company licenses;

Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance and regulatory reporting;

Work closely with Beam’s insurance carrier partners on rate, form, and network filings;

Work closely with Beam’s insurance carrier partners to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and business requirement documents;

May be responsible for preparing and submitting filings via SERFF;

Communicate rate, rule and forms filings with pertinent areas of the business;

Participates in preparing regulatory and compliance documents and/or reports;

Coordinates with state insurance departments on filing requirements, contract language and form requirements;

Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in the insurance industry

Familiarity with insurance laws and regulations

Knowledge of insurance concepts, principles, and practices

Excellent oral and written communication skills for contact with internal and external stakeholders

Organizational and project management skills

Ability to identify gaps and drive solutions

Ability to interpret and communicate insurance licensing regulations
