Responsibilities
Monitor and review third party and merchant activity which contradicts North policy and card brand rules.
Through day-to-day execution, identify potential gaps and third party non-compliance, including merchant and agent non-compliance.
Day-to-day execution of oversight of direct agents under North entities, including:
+ URL monitoring and reviews.
+ Registration maintenance relating to DBAs, sponsor banks, and card brands.
+ Monitoring of DBA entities for activities that impact compliance.
Issues management through to remediation.
Preparation of monthly and ad hoc reporting.
Direct engagement with business lines regarding DBAs.
Support assessment of requirements, including documentary evidence and reporting.
Identify any exceptions to process, exercising sound judgment and subject matter knowledge, consulting with leader to define approach and documentation requirements.
Support development of new policy, program and process requirements, including documentation, training and execution.
Review, investigate and respond to compliance related inquiries.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum three (3) years experience with card brand compliance.
Minimum two (2) years of financial services/technology experience as it relates to merchant credit card payment processing (e.g. Gateways, POS).
Ability to execute processes – repeatability, reliability, and reportability.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
Ability to explain processes and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Display professional judgment and teamwork.
Detail oriented and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, including multi-level staff and external partners.
Ability to track multiple initiatives and meet deadlines; able to prioritize effectively.
Preferred
Certified Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) and/or Certified Payments Professional (ETA-CPP) preferred.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive programs and/or products.
At least one year monitoring and detecting compliance issues in process and/or requirements in area of specialty, and remediation.
