Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Ensure company practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in regulatory requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Review and update existing policies to reflect changes in regulations or company practices.
Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify and address potential areas of risk or non-compliance.
Develop and deliver training programs for employees on compliance-related topics.
Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance issues and procedures.

Required
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software.
Preferred
Experience in a compliance role, preferably in Property Management and Affordable Housing.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance, Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and or Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) are a plus.
