Responsibilities
Conduct rigorous evaluation of existing proprietary machine interpretation platform using internally established scoring metrics to assess model accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Perform software testing related to linguistic functions and language translation accuracy to help maintain high-quality NLP outputs.
Evaluate external NLP machine interpretation platforms using the same methodology.
Evaluate human interpretation for the purposes of qualitative comparison.
Develop scenarios progressively to support the evaluation process.
Analyze and refine the evaluation process as needed.
Provide robust feedback to the development team to inform model improvements, identifying strengths and areas for enhancement.
Collaborate with a team of linguists to execute evaluation in multiple languages.
Assist in modifying and running data analytics tools using Python and SQL to support team efforts in model performance and efficiency.
Support the handling of large Unicode datasets by performing data transformations, imports, and exports, helping to ensure accuracy and consistency across language resources.
Contribute to prompt engineering tasks to work with large language models, helping improve team productivity and enhancing language model capabilities.
Aid in the use and manipulation of translation data, including XLIFF formats and translation memory tools, to support multilingual projects and maintain alignment with project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data processing methods and NLP solutions through the latest advancements in LLMs and neural networks.
