Responsibilities

Report to the Chief Technology Officer and be part of a collaborative Engineering Team supporting the company's top-rated AI-powered dash cam and safety alert app and developing it into insurance-backed programs for commercial and personal drivers.
There will be direct integrations with insurance, automotive and municipal partners working to enhance road safety.

Required

2-5 years ML related work experience with at least 1 year specialization in computer vision.
Strong academic understanding of the science behind modern machine learning (e.g. linear algebra, statistics, optimization, algorithms).
Practical experience implementing computer vision solutions, collaborating with a team, and shipping ML products at scale.
Experience with supervised, unsupervised, deep, and/or reinforcement learning algorithms.
Experience in (and opinions about) OpenCV, modern deep learning frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, MxNet, etc.), and on-device libraries like CoreML.
Proficiency in Python, with some experience in C++.
Passion for working with huge datasets and the data wrangling challenges they present.
Excellent communication skills and ability to present a compelling argument for implementation of solutions.
Rigorous attention to detail and quality of model input and output, with an obsession about validation metrics and train-test-validation datasets.

Preferred

Advanced degree in mathematics/statistics.
Experience with 3D scene reconstruction.
R programming language experience.
