Responsibilities
Research, compile, and synthesize information from the scientific literature and government publications.
Compose technical documents to gain new or uphold existing federal protection for endangered species.
Compose documents to support legal or campaign work to protect endangered species from threats.
Coordinate tasks with Center scientists and other staff as needed to meet deadlines.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required
A bachelor's degree in conservation biology, environmental science, or related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent internet and library research skills using scholarly databases and online tools.
Excellent organization and computer skills.
Proficiency in conservation biology and biology concepts and terminology.
Proficiency in common software like Word and Excel.
A passion for and knowledge of protecting biodiversity.
