Responsibilities
Identify business trends and problems through complex big data analysis.
Interpret results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently.
Design, develop, and implement valuable business solutions for the organization.
Prepare big data, implement data models, and develop databases to support the business solutions.
Develop and build automated tools for feature selection and optimization classifiers using machine learning techniques.
Mine large data sets using state-of-the-art methods to produce intelligence products.
Utilize third-party data sources to enhance and extend client data for a more comprehensive analytical picture.
Enhance data collection procedures to automate processes, include relevant data, and verify data integrity.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner through various formats.
Create automated anomaly detection systems with internal tracking of performance.
Assist in general IT support as needed within the environment.
Enhance and support a Cloud resource hosting solution for projects.

Required
Fifteen (15) years relevant Data Analyst/Data mining experience including Cloud resource hosting solution for APOLLO, HYDRA, and ORION
Works on high-visibility, or mission-critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently
Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. Four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required
Pass both a client-mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check, and credit check
All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card)
Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members)
Preferred
Once candidate's resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance
All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e., collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women
