Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and assessing programs and procedures involving NCUA's responsibility as enforcement agency for applicable federal consumer financial protection laws and regulations.
Monitor recurring issues and adverse trends involving consumer financial protection found during investigation of consumer complaints and inquiries and inform the Director of Consumer Affairs of special issues and problems.
Function as a resource for federal financial consumer protection laws and regulations affecting federal credit unions and coordinate with other NCUA offices on questions of interpretation or enforcement.
Determine appropriate corrective actions to be taken by credit unions and follow up to ensure area(s) of non-compliance are corrected.
Produce, analyze, interpret, and evaluate written reports and data required for the successful operation of the CAC, including but not limited to, consumer complaint analytics, trends, regulations and laws, complaint resolution and investigation analysis and consumer compliance violations.
