Responsibilities

Strategic Content Development: Understand client needs and collaborate on content strategies to achieve marketing and business goals. Regularly review competitor and client audits to innovate and optimize content.
Content Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of the content creation process (developing, writing, and editing) ensuring it is client-ready. Implement and maintain systems for efficiency and effectiveness in content production.
Trend monitoring: Know what is working on CT, what is stale, and what will get high-value interactions
Brand consistency: Be able to write engaging content across different tones that match our client’s voice (buttoned up, middle of road, and truly unhinged)
Client and Team Communication: lead discussions and work with account teams, our Head of Social, and clients in evaluating and adjusting content to maximize engagement and attract the right audience
Project Management: Manage content calendars and coordinate with various departments to streamline the content process.

Required

Extremely crypto-native across DeFi and Infrastructure sectors (among other verticals in Web3) You should be able to explain the various technologies/GTM approaches and tradeoffs amongst dApps/infra solutions in these ecosystems.
You should be an active CT participant – able to articulate the latest insider meta and riff on deeply-rooted memetic dynamics alongside the tech and tradeoffs amongst dApps/infra solutions in these ecosystems.
You have produced an expansive content portfolio (blog posts, research papers, X threads, etc.) & proven track record in content management in the crypto space.
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Strong background in strategic and critical thinking.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with experience in understanding content performance metrics.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented in your day-to-day work and communications.
Strong research capabilities. Proficient in conducting thorough research to support content creation.
You display a team-first mentality with your fellow SCRIB3ers and build candid, trust-based professional relationships with your clients.
Self-Starter personality. We're a startup, and things move fast and sometimes without clear direction. We want to give you the freedom to craft your own success and show initiative.
Working in crypto for 2 or more years, following crypto for >3 years

Preferred

Previous experience at a marketing/communications agency or other professional services environment.
Previous early-stage experience at a blue-chip crypto company.
Previous experience in web2 marketing/consulting before transitioning to crypto.
