Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, the content marketing manager will work closely with subject matter experts within and outside Semperis to develop compelling content to drive awareness and lead generation for Semperis.
The position will entail writing, editing, proofreading/copy-editing, and project management. Projects will include short-form social media content, blogs, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, white papers, reports, and more.
Work closely with the Director of Content Marketing to define and execute a cohesive content marketing strategy that aligns with Semperis’ business goals.
Learn and use the core Semperis messaging framework in developing content that conveys our point of view and expertise in the identity security and recovery arena.
Work closely with members of the field marketing, sales, marketing, product, customer success, and research teams to brainstorm content ideas that fit within our content strategy, develop the content plan, and execute the content project from end to end.
Develop technically accurate and compelling content in all formats for our customers, prospects, partners, and sellers.
Write social media copy to amplify our content assets, working closely with the social media and design teams to execute the concepts.
Become adept at producing podcasts from end to end, including working with the subject matter experts to formulate the content abstract, lining up speakers, arranging the recording, project-managing the editing and production, writing and posting episode descriptions, and writing social media and other promotional copy to drive engagement with the podcast.
Work closely with the Director of Content Marketing and our outsourced SEO team to optimize existing content, develop content briefs for new content, and constantly prune and maintain our online content for relevance and accuracy.
Work with subject matter experts to develop presentation decks for web seminars and in-person events, adding to our library of presentation content that follows our content strategy.
Develop case studies and testimonials with our customers in various formats, including standalone quotes/testimonials, written case studies, video case studies, and more.
Become an in-house expert on reviewing content assets for grammar, style, technical accuracy, and adherence to branding and our messaging framework.

Required
5+ years of experience in technical B2B content marketing with familiarity in editing and writing for practitioners and leaders; specific experience with Microsoft identity and cybersecurity principals is ideal.
No required degree although a background in technical writing or technical marketing is ideal.
Experience developing content for IT and security practitioners and tech- company leaders including CISO, CIOs, CTOs, and CEOs.
Deep understanding of content marketing strategy, from top of funnel to conversion, in the B2B tech space.
Proactive, results-focused owner of your mission, with the willingness to relentlessly pursue what you need from cross-departmental team members to achieve the goal.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write and produce polished, technically accurate, and effective copy for marketing materials including website pages, blogs, videos, survey reports, social media campaigns, slide decks, and email marketing campaigns.
