Responsibilities
Oversee and work on the development and delivery of products that provide FEMA regional and field offices and state emergency management offices with post disaster lessons learned, emerging best practices, continuous improvement job aids, assessment analysis, training courses, etc.
Oversee the production of assessment reports, trend analyses, and case studies based on data collected and research.
Oversee the production of guidance, tools, templates, and resources related to assisting FEMA and state emergency managers improve their programs.
Oversee the creation of briefings, engagement materials, fact sheets, and talking points in accordance with FEMA and DHS style guides.
Oversee the identification and reporting of trends.
Oversee the development of executive summaries, synthesize findings, and support the development of new products in response to requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Support FEMA’s Continuous Improvement Division’s strategy, policy, and doctrine development. Review and update efforts, to include updates to multi-year plans, Directives 107-1 and 107-2.
Oversee the translation of documents and materials in other languages.
Support the organization, management, logistics, planning, and coordination of engagement with stakeholders, partners, and trainers.
Oversee the development of materials and support the delivery of virtual or in-person training and technical assistance sessions for stakeholders.
Oversee the revision, development, and delivery of training that supports the FEMA Qualification System, to include the qualification of continuous improvement advisors and lead advisors.

Required
Direct experience with FEMA required; with minimum of 6 years of emergency management and/or homeland security experience and experience with state, local, tribal emergency management agencies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, time-critical support activities simultaneously, including analysis and data collection.
Undergraduate degree required.
Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams.
Ability to type 45 wpm.
Complete a Drug Test.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to obtain a Tier 2, Non-sensitive Public Trust (Moderate Risk) Clearance.
Available to travel as necessary.
Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.
