Contract Administrator/Legal Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
Support a collaborative legal team in drafting, reviewing, and updating various contracts and documents
Review and negotiate NDAs and vendor contracts, escalating to counsel when needed
Coordinate contract review cycle including approvals, signature process, and archiving through Ironclad
Create, maintain, and update contract management processes and workflows in Ironclad
Manage special projects and identify gaps in processes for scalable solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders from Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, IT, Security, and Procurement teams
Create Playbooks, update contract database, and handle internal legal requests
Manage signature process, compare contract versions, conduct legal research, and draft memos
Assist in internal training presentations, email communications, and administration of legal processes
Assist with other duties as assigned

Required
5+ years of legal operations or contracts administration experience at a law firm or in-house environment
Deep experience with commercial contracts, SaaS, license, and non-disclosure agreements
Skilled negotiator, with extensive experience negotiating non-disclosure agreements
Procurement experience
Build and manage Ironclad
Experience reviewing or coordinating the review of a variety of agreements and policies
Superior drafting skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Punctual and responsive
Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communications skills
Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams located across the globe
Experience working in a demanding, fast-paced, high volume transaction environment
Comfortable working under tight deadlines while demonstrating sound judgment, flexibility and creativity
Able to prioritize appropriately and manage multiple tasks
Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
Collaborative team player who is willing up to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
Coachable and open to constructive feedback
Transparent and accountable
Capable of issue spotting, asking questions when unclear and escalating issues to members of the legal team as needed
Technical savvy – highly skilled at the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides), DocuSign, Adobe, Ironclad and other technical tools
Preferred
Familiarity with tools CPQ, and Salesforce
