Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.

This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Foundational Certification or Contracting Professional within 36 months of entrance on duty.

Business Travel required 25% of the time.

One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Analyzing acquisition contracts to improve efficiency/savings; (2) Monitoring contracts through the contract lifecycle to ensure implementation of federal acquisition procedures AND (3) Providing advisory services on procurement related issues to improve efficiency/savings.

You must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Education cannot be substituted for experience.

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.

One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Direct deposit of pay is required.

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.

This is a Contracting Career Field position.

Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.

When you perform a Civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) with the government, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) considers the majority of your entitlements to be taxable.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances is authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest.

May require overtime work.
