Responsibilities

Controller will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP

Manage the accounting team, providing leadership, training, and development

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

As a Controller, you will ensure timely and accurate filing of all financial reports and tax returns

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations

Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and business plans

Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies

Oversee cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

CPA or CMA preferred
