Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and monthly closing processes.
Prepare and analyze financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow projections) to support leadership decision-making.
Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including reimbursement models, and maintain financial compliance with all state and federal healthcare laws.
Develop and monitor annual budgets, analyze variances, and revise forecasts based on business needs.
Work closely with senior leadership to optimize financial strategies, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently for growth and profitability.
Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations.
Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors to ensure proper filing, tax preparation, and compliance.
Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
Develop financial policies to ensure organizational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Work with multi-physician teams to align financial operations with clinical and business objectives.
Provide strategic insight into operational decisions, offering financial expertise for growth and expansion initiatives.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role within a healthcare organization, ideally managing multi-physician practices
Strong understanding of healthcare financial management, including insurance reimbursements and healthcare regulations
Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders
A proactive, strategic thinker who can drive financial decisions to support organizational goals
Preferred
CPA or CMA certification
