Responsibilities

Check for grammatical, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. Correct all mistakes.

Check for incomplete sentences, run-on sentences, and sentences that are out of place. Correct all mistakes.

Proofread online materials.

Remove unnecessary words to make the writing clearer.

Ensure the writing conforms to the publication’s style guide.

Improve clarity, tone, and flow where needed.

Correct all errors that are identified.

Edit educational materials (lessons, activities, assignments, assessment items, diagrams, etc.) for assigned products and content areas.

Follow guidance to implement and ensure consistent application of instructional design and guidelines.

Communicate and collaborate within and across functional teams, as well as with vendors and independent contractors, to manage development efforts effectively.

Set priorities to meet deadlines for requested tasks and actively communicate the status with the project lead.

Utilize a variety of software and tools to complete job duties.

Interact with internal teams to resolve issues.

Other duties as required.
