Responsibilities
Oversees administrative and financial operations of the scientific research cores.
Maintains detailed business plans, budgets, fee schedules, and equipment management plans.
Facilitates the Scientific Advisory Board and updates core facility webpages.
Prepares annual reports and ensures compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies.
Coordinates billing, financial reporting, and budget analysis for the core facilities.
Anticipates and responds to customer needs, and contributes to performance improvement and problem-solving.
Promotes safety and efficient resource utilization within the organization.

Required
Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Minimum Work Experience 4 years academic healthcare management/ healthcare finance administration with increasing responsibilities (Required)
2 years managing operating budgets (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge Research and/or research administration experience in an academic biomedical research organization.
Highly dependable, proactive individual with a positive “can do” attitude.
Dynamic personality with a high level of interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively and persuasively with all levels of an organization.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Strong financial and analytical skills, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong time-management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects at once.
Ability to handle a variety of tasks across a broad range of areas, learn new areas quickly, and adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to prioritize workload while considering changing needs, set deadlines independently and complete projects effectively.
Understands, supports and adheres to regulations governing sponsored program administration.
Adherence to the highest ethical standards working with sensitive information with absolute discretion.
