Responsibilities

Oversee real estate transactions in partnership with brokers and internal teams, including site selection and lease negotiations. Develop financial models to evaluate opportunities and present recommendations to senior management. Support lease administration by tracking key dates, processing rent payments, managing security deposits, and monitoring compliance.
Monitor and report key real estate metrics—occupancy rates, lease expirations, renewals, cost per square foot, utilization, and total occupancy costs. Maintain dashboards and reporting tools using broker systems and technologies.
Partner with the legal department to coordinate review of new leases, renewals, subleases, estoppels, SNDAs and other miscellaneous real estate related documents.
Manage and troubleshoot property or landlord issues, escalating to legal as appropriate.
Assist accounts payable in processing subtenant receivables and tracking receipt of payments accordingly.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process for rent, integrated facilities management, and operating expenses.
Support the development of space planning, workplace optimization, and sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate with external project managers to prepare documentation for TI allowance reimbursements. Track receipt of payments and balances due.
Monitor real estate trends and market conditions to assist in making strategic recommendations.
Assist the Integrated Facilities Management vendor on certain projects, new centers, and relocations.
Participate in cross-functional projects that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of real estate operations. Assist with ad hoc real estate projects and other tasks as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in corporate real estate, property management, or a related field (internships excluded).
Ability to independently interpret and comprehend commercial real estate leases.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling and budgeting is a plus.
Familiarity with real estate management software and databases.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Some travel required (likely 10% of the time)

Preferred

Experience with metrics tracking or data analysis in a corporate setting.
Familiarity with lease management, space planning, or facility management.
Knowledge of real estate market trends and benchmarking.
Experience with commercial real estate in a healthcare setting
