Responsibilities
Develop systems for early warning signs and potential repetitional risks.
Collaborate with teams to develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies for managing issues and crises.
Prepare strategic communication plans, messaging, and responses for sensitive topics.
Be an important contact during crises, working with senior leadership to ensure transparent and effective communication.
Contribute to the development and execution of our overarching communications strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals.
Craft and refine important corporate messages, positioning us as an industry leader and trusted brand.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including media, regulators, customers, and employees.
Handle media inquiries related to sensitive issues and provide spokesperson support.
Draft statements, media responses, and external communications that reflect our point of view and position on corporate issues.
Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and regulatory environments to identify emerging issues that could affect us.

Required
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 8+ years of experience, either at a PR agency or on an in-house communications team
Experience handling high-pressure communication situations, including crises
Experience managing media relations and serving as a spokesperson
Ability to anticipate potential issues before they become crises
An understanding of corporate reputation management and partner engagement.
